Course Description

This foundational digital literacy course equips young learners with essential computer skills for school and everyday life covering core computer use, touch-typing, and the core Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Identify computer components and confidently manage files and programs
Type accurately and with increasing speed using proper touch-typing technique
Create and format documents in Microsoft Word, including images and layout
Enter data, perform calculations, and build charts in Microsoft Excel
Design a presentation in PowerPoint and compose/manage emails in Outlook
